When do you need coloured card?
This folia Tonkarton is ideal when you want to work on a coloured background instead of white paper. The thick 220 g/m² paper is suitable for various techniques such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and markers, where the coloured base gives your artwork a special look.

Why choose this size and thickness?
The large size of 500×700 mm offers plenty of room for extensive drawings and creative projects. The sturdy 220 g/m² makes the paper strong enough to work with intensively without tearing or sagging. This weight offers the perfect balance between flexibility and firmness.

What does acid-free quality mean?
Acid-free paper means your artworks will not yellow or deteriorate over time. The through-coloured quality ensures the colour is consistent throughout the entire sheet, with no white edges appearing when torn or cut. This makes the paper suitable for projects that need to stay beautiful for a long time.

Practical tips for use
The paper can be painted on and glues very well thanks to its high absorbency and good feel. Ideal for wet techniques such as watercolour or ink. Always test first on a small piece to see how your materials react to the coloured background. Store the sheets flat to prevent creasing.
