When do you need transparent paper?
Transparent paper is used for creative projects where you want to create a semi-transparent layer. This coloured transparent paper from folia is ideal for crafts, decorations, lampshades or as an overlay effect in presentations. The paper lets light through and gives your project a warm glow.

Why choose this roll format?
With dimensions of 700 mm × 1 m, you get a generous amount of material to work with. The roll format makes it easy to cut exactly the length you need for your project. This width of 70 centimetres offers enough room for larger decorations or for cutting out several smaller elements.

The translucent effect in practice
This transparent paper lets light through but is not completely see-through — it has a translucent effect. Colours and light shine through the paper with a warm glow. The paper is sturdy enough to work with, yet remains pliable for folding and shaping.

Practical storage and use
Store the roll upright or hanging to prevent creases. Always cut with a sharp knife or scissors for neat edges. The paper is suitable for gluing, but first test on a small piece whether your chosen glue leaves no marks on the transparent surface.
