With this folding star set, you can easily make beautiful Christmas stars using the traditional Meissner technique. Clear instructions included for atmospheric festive decorations.
When do you choose this product?
What is the Meissner folding technique?
The Meissner technique is a special folding method for making decorative stars without glue or staples. You fold the paper in a particular way so that the points interlock and the star holds firmly together. This folding kit contains everything you need to master this traditional German folding technique.
Why this combination of sizes?
This set contains 12 sheets measuring 150 x 150 mm and 24 sheets measuring 100 x 100 mm, which gives you exactly enough material for one large star and two smaller stars. The different sizes create an attractive contrast in scale in your decoration. The paper has a weight of 80 g/m², which is sturdy enough to hold the folds well without tearing while you work.
Different motifs for variety
The kit contains paper with different decorative motifs, so each star looks unique. You don't need to come up with patterns yourself or research which types of paper are suitable for this folding technique. The motifs have been specially selected to show to their best advantage in the folded stars.
Practical tip for beginners
The set comes with a comprehensive craft guide that explains step by step how to apply the Meissner technique. If you're not yet familiar with this folding technique, start with the smaller sizes, as these are easier to handle. Store any leftover sheets in a dry place so that they don't curl before you use them.
