What does an alphabetical index do, and when do you need one?
An alphabetical index helps you organise cards, documents or other administration systematically in alphabetical order. You use this system in filing boxes, card index boxes or sorting trays to quickly find the right information. This is especially useful for customer files, contact details, invoices or other documents you need to consult regularly.

Why choose this A5 landscape format?
The A5 landscape format (210 x 158 mm) is ideal for use with standard A5 cards that are stored horizontally. This format offers enough space for clear storage without taking up too much room on your desk or in filing cabinets. The 25-part system gives you a complete A-Z division for maximum sorting options.

Durable polypropylene material
The index is made of PP (polypropylene), which makes it dirt- and moisture-resistant. This means it withstands daily use, and you can easily wipe away fingerprints and stains. The grey material stays neat for longer than white alternatives, and the black alphabetical printing remains clearly legible.

Practical tip for optimal use
When purchasing card index boxes or sorting trays, make sure they are suitable for A5 landscape cards. The card tab head has a width of 41 mm, which ensures the letters are clearly visible. Place the index at the front of your system so you can see straight away which section you need without first having to search through other cards.
