This is why Dex likes this article
This pedal bin always closes silently thanks to the soft-close function, with no fuss. You operate it easily with your foot, and the galvanised, flame-retardant inner bin makes emptying and cleaning effortless.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a pedal bin?
A pedal bin is ideal for places where you regularly throw away waste but want to keep your hands free. With the foot pedal, you open the bin hygienically without touching it, perfect for kitchens, offices or workplaces where you are often handling food or documents.
Why choose the 30-litre capacity?
This 30-litre version offers sufficient capacity for an average household or office space without taking up too much room. With a diameter of 270 mm and a height of 623 mm, it fits well in a corner or under a worktop, while you don't need to empty it every day.
What does the soft-close function mean?
The soft-close function ensures that the lid closes slowly and silently after using the foot pedal. This prevents loud bangs and protects the lid from damage. Especially in office environments or open kitchens where you don't want to disturb others, this is a practical feature.
Practical details for use
The inner bucket is galvanised and flame-retardant, which provides extra safety and hygiene. Despite the 30-litre capacity, the manufacturer recommends 120-litre bin bags – this provides enough overlap to fold the bag well over the rim and secure it firmly. The plastic base protects your floor from scratches.
