This is why Dex likes this article
Protect your books professionally with this transparent PP film, 400 mm wide. Easy to apply without an adhesive layer, ideal for school books and important documents you want to keep for a long time.
When do you choose this product?
What does book protection film do, and when do you need it?
Book protection film protects the cover of books against wear, scratches and dirt. You mainly need it if you want to keep books for a long time, such as textbooks, reference works or valuable editions. It also helps keep frequently used books in offices, libraries or at home looking neat for longer.
Why choose this 400 mm wide size?
With a width of 400 mm, you can fully wrap books up to roughly A4 size. The length of 2 metres provides enough material for several books, depending on their thickness. This size is practical for standard textbooks, novels and most office manuals.
The advantage of non-self-adhesive film
This HERMA film is not self-adhesive, which means you won't get any adhesive residue on your books. You can easily remove the film without damaging the original cover. The transparent PP (polypropylene) material is durable and keeps the colours and design of the book cover clearly visible.
Practical tip for application
Because the film is not self-adhesive, you will need double-sided tape or bookbinding tape to secure it. First measure the dimensions of your book and cut the film slightly larger than necessary. Work from the inside outwards to prevent air bubbles, and make sure the edges are neatly finished.
