When do you need a shredder?
A shredder is indispensable for the safe destruction of confidential documents, credit cards and CDs. This helps prevent sensitive information from falling into the wrong hands. The HSM PURE 740 is suitable for offices and departments where larger quantities of paper need to be destroyed on a regular basis.

Why choose this capacity?
With a capacity of 26-28 sheets at a time, you save time when shredding thick reports or stacks of documents. The generous feed width of 400 mm means you can also shred A3 formats and wide documents without having to fold them first. The large 145-litre collection volume means you won't need to empty it as often.

Strip-cut security level
This shredder uses strip-cut with a width of 3.9 mm and meets security level P-2/E-2/O-2/T-2. This level is suitable for internal business documents and standard confidential information. The strips can still be reconstructed if someone were to try, so for highly confidential documents, a higher security level is the better choice.

Practical considerations for placement
With dimensions of 620 x 487 x 889 mm and a weight of 47.5 kg, this is a substantial machine that requires a fixed location. Plan for sufficient space around the appliance for operation and maintenance. Please note: this model is supplied with a Swiss plug including an adapter, so check whether it is compatible with your sockets.
