What does this painting canvas do for you?
This Kangaro canvas is specially designed for painters who want to work on a professional canvas. The canvas is already stretched on a wooden frame, so you can start painting straight away without any preparatory work. You need this type of canvas when you want to paint with acrylic or oil paint on a sturdy, durable surface.

Why choose this size and thickness?
The 300×400 mm format offers enough space for portraits, landscapes and other medium-sized artworks. The keilrahmen has a thickness of 37 mm, which provides extra stability while painting. This prevents the canvas from sagging when you apply pressure with your brush.

The quality of the canvas
The fabric is made of 100% cotton with a weight of 380 grams per square metre, which forms a sturdy base for your painting. The canvas has been primed three times with gesso, a special ground layer that ensures the paint adheres well and doesn't soak into the fabric. This professional preparation means you can start right away without having to prime it yourself.

Practical details for long-term use
The canvas comes with wooden wedges made of pine. You can later place these wedges in the corners of the frame if the canvas becomes slightly looser due to age or moisture. This allows you to stretch the canvas tight again, so your artwork will last for years without any loss of quality.
