What are index cards and when do you use them?
Index cards are sturdy cardboard cards used for systematically organising information. You need them when you want to record, sort and retrieve data by hand - think customer files, recipes, vocabulary or study notes. The 200×125 mm format offers enough writing space for detailed information.

Why choose the 200×125 mm format?
This medium size is ideal when you need more room for text than small cards provide, yet still want handy cards that don't take up too much space. The dimensions make the cards suitable for standard index card boxes and offer a practical balance between writing space and clarity.

Benefits of 190 gram card with coloured elements
The 190 gram card ensures sturdiness, so the cards last well under frequent use. The red header strip helps you quickly recognise categories or highlight important information. The blue and grey ruling keeps text neatly aligned and makes your handwriting easier to read.

Practical tip for optimal use
With 100 cards in the pack, you have enough cards for a complete system. Use the red header strip consistently for, say, subject labels or codes, so you can search and sort quickly. Store the cards in a suitable index card box to keep them in good condition and easy to access.
