What are Lyoner brushes and when do you need them?
Lyoner brushes are specialist painting brushes with soft pig bristles that are suitable for various types of paint. You need these brushes when you work with oil paint, watercolour or acrylic paint and are looking for a brush that is versatile for different painting techniques.

Why choose brushes with pig bristle?
The soft pig bristles in these Kangaro brushes ensure good paint pickup and even paint release. This makes them particularly suitable for mixing colours on the canvas and for creating smooth transitions. The aluminium ferrule (metal sleeve) holds the bristles firmly in place.

Practical advantage of the unlacquered wooden handle
The short, round wooden handle is deliberately left unlacquered. This gives you a better grip while painting and prevents the handle from slipping out of your fingers, especially when you are working for a longer period. The natural wood texture offers more grip than smooth lacquered handles.

Set of 12 pieces for long-term use
With this set of 12 identical brushes, you always have enough in reserve. You can use different brushes for different colours without having to clean them in between, which speeds up your workflow. Also handy as a backup when a brush wears out through intensive use.
