What does a pedal bin do, and when do you need one?
A pedal bin such as the keeeper Tjark is ideal for places where you want to keep your hands free while disposing of waste. Pressing the pedal with your foot opens the lid automatically, which is especially handy when cooking, crafting or when your hands are dirty. This hygienic system means you never have to touch the bin with your hands.

Why choose this compact size?
With its compact dimensions (240 x 225 x 260 mm), this bin fits perfectly in smaller spaces such as the bathroom, next to your desk, in a small kitchen or in the nursery. The capacity is ideal for everyday household waste without the bin taking up too much space or filling up too quickly.

Nordic grey with a rattan look for a natural appearance
The PP material has a rattan look that gives your interior a warm, natural feel. The Nordic grey colour is neutral and suits a variety of interior styles. This plastic imitation of rattan offers the same atmospheric appearance as real rattan, but is much easier to clean and requires no maintenance.

Practical tip for optimal use
Use suitable bin bags for a 10-litre capacity. Cleaning the pedal mechanism regularly keeps the opening working smoothly. Place the bin on a stable surface so that it doesn't move when you press the pedal.
