When do you use an extension shelving unit?
You use this extension shelving unit to expand existing Progress 500 shelving systems. It is intended as an addition to a base unit and cannot stand on its own. You choose an extension unit when you need extra storage space and already have a starter system from the same brand.

Why choose these dimensions?
With dimensions of 750×300×1900 mm, this unit offers a slim yet tall storage solution. The depth of 300 mm is perfectly suited to standard lever arch files and archive boxes. The height of 1900 mm gives you five file-height levels, so you make maximum use of vertical space without the unit becoming too tall to comfortably reach the top shelves.

Strong load capacity for office use
The boltless shelf system made of furniture steel can carry up to 60 kg per shelf, which is more than sufficient for fully filled lever arch files and heavy documents. The complete shelving bay has a maximum load capacity of 500 kg, so you can also store heavier office items safely. The height-adjustable shelves let you adapt the layout to different storage needs.

Practical compatibility
This extension shelving unit is only compatible with other Kerkmann Progress 500 systems in the same colour, light grey (RAL 7035). The plug-in system creates a sturdy connection without any tools. Please note that you must always start with a base unit before you can install extension shelving units, as this model has no side panels and requires support from the main system.
