When should you choose a compact desk?
This Kerkmann Start Up desk is ideal when you need a functional workspace in a limited space. With dimensions of 100×60 cm, it offers enough work surface for a laptop, documents and office supplies, without dominating your room. It is perfect for working from home, student rooms or smaller offices where every square metre counts.

Why this size is the right choice
The 100×60 cm dimensions strike the ideal balance between functionality and space saving. You have enough depth (60 cm) to work comfortably without your arms getting cramped, while the 100 cm width provides room for your most important work items. The standard height of 75 cm ensures an ergonomic working position when used with a regular office chair.

Stable C-foot frame
The C-foot frame in powder-coated steel offers excellent stability and a modern look. This type of frame gives you maximum legroom because there are no legs in the way. The silver-coloured frame contrasts nicely with the anthracite-coloured top and suits both modern and classic interiors.

Practical assembly information
The desk is delivered disassembled, which is convenient for transport and for carrying it up narrow staircases. The 19 mm thick worktop has a melamine resin coating with a 2 mm ABS edge, which ensures durability and easy maintenance. Allow about 30–45 minutes for assembly and make sure you have a Phillips screwdriver and, if needed, an Allen key set.
