When do you need a desk with an extension?
This Kerkmann Start Up desk is ideal when you need more work surface than a standard desk offers. The combination of the 1600×800 mm main top with an additional 1000×600 mm extension element gives you the space to carry out multiple tasks at once. Perfect for home workers, students or office employees who work with multiple monitors, documents and office supplies.

Why this configuration with an extension?
The extension element can be mounted on either the right or the left, allowing you to adapt the desk to your specific room layout. This flexibility makes it suitable for various office arrangements and corner positions. The total working area you get is considerably larger than with a rectangular desk of comparable dimensions.

What to expect from the materials
The desktop is 19 mm thick and made of E1 quality chipboard with a 2 mm ABS edge. This means you have a stable work surface that can withstand daily use. The C-leg frame provides a sturdy base and offers legroom beneath the desk.

Practical assembly information
The desk is delivered disassembled, so you will need to assemble it yourself. Make sure you have enough space to fit both parts and decide in advance whether you want to place the extension element on the right or the left. Measure your available space carefully, as the complete setup takes up quite a bit of room.
