What does a sit-stand desk do?

A sit-stand desk allows you to easily switch between sitting and standing during the working day. This is useful if you spend long periods behind your desk and want to avoid staying in the same position all day. The kerkmann Move New Base is electrically height-adjustable, so you change the height with the push of a button instead of manually.

Is this size suitable for your workspace?

The desk has a width of 1,200 mm and a depth of 650 mm, which makes it suitable for an individual workspace with room for a monitor, laptop and some desk accessories. The height is adjustable between 740 and 1,200 mm, so the desk can be used by people of different heights, both sitting and standing. When purchasing, take into account the space available in your office or home workspace.

What does the memory function mean in practice?

The built-in memory function lets you save one or more preferred positions. Once you have set your ideal sitting and standing height, you don't need to adjust it again each time. This makes switching between positions during the day quicker and more consistent, especially if several people take turns working at the same desk.

Practical points for installation and use

The desk is delivered as a flat-pack kit, so you will need to assemble it yourself after delivery. The T-foot frame is silver-coloured and the worktop has a melamine resin coating with an ABS edge. An integrated power strip is included that works with a standard European plug, which is handy for connecting devices directly to the desk. Before use, check that you have enough space behind the desk for the height adjustment.
