When do you need extra support for your shelf boards?
This shelf board support is designed to reinforce existing shelves in shelving systems. You need this type of support when you want to store heavier items than the original load capacity of your compartment allows, or when you want to prevent shelves from sagging under full load.

Why choose this 400 mm deep variant?
This support is specifically designed for compartments with a depth of 400 mm. The galvanised furniture steel ensures durability and rust resistance, which is important in office and warehouse environments. With dimensions of 394 x 25 x 39 mm, this undercarriage fits neatly beneath your existing shelf boards without taking up much space.

How much extra weight can you carry with it?
Each support increases the load capacity of your shelf board by 40 kg. This means you can store considerably more weight without risk of sagging or damage to your shelves. The galvanised material keeps this load capacity stable over a long period.

Practical installation tip
Make sure you place the support exactly in the centre of your shelf board for optimal weight distribution. The compact size makes it possible to use several supports side by side for extra-wide compartments. Before installing, check that your shelving system is compatible with this M2 series from Kerkmann.
