When do you need sock needles?
Sock needles are used for knitting circular knitwork such as socks, hats and gloves. Unlike regular knitting needles, you can knit seamlessly in the round with this set of 5 needles, without having to sew seams afterwards. This makes them indispensable for projects where you want to create a tubular shape.

Why choose a 200 mm length and 5.5 mm thickness?
This 200 mm size gives you sufficient working length for most knitting projects, while the needles remain easy to handle. The 5.5 mm thickness is suitable for medium-weight yarns and ensures a standard stitch size. The set contains exactly 5 needles, which is the standard number for knitting in the round.

Advantage of the aluminium material
The aluminium material has a smooth surface, so the stitches slide easily over the needles. This makes the knitting process smoother and reduces the chance of snagging stitches. The grey colour gives the needles a neutral look, and the aluminium is durable enough for regular use.

Practical tip for use
These sock needles are suitable for all knitwork that is worked in the round. Always start by dividing your stitches evenly over 4 needles, while using the 5th needle to knit with. Make sure you don't knit the first round too tightly, so that you can easily begin knitting in the round.
