When do you need a replacement ink cartridge?
An ink cartridge such as the Kores G1523BK is what you use when the black ink in your Brother printer runs out. This is a compatible cartridge that has the same function as the original Brother LC-985BK, but at a more favourable price. You'll notice you need a new cartridge when your printouts start to look lighter or your printer indicates that the ink is nearly empty.

Why choose this compatible variant?
This Kores cartridge replaces the original Brother LC-985BK and delivers the same print quality at a lower cost. Compatible cartridges are a smart choice if you regularly print black-and-white documents and want to save on printing costs. The cartridge contains 10 ml of ink, which is sufficient for a considerable number of prints.

Reliable performance for your Brother printer
The G1523BK produces consistent black prints that are suitable for text, documents and other black-and-white printing. As a compatible cartridge, it undergoes the same quality checks and meets the specifications your Brother printer expects. You get sharp text output without compromising your printer's functionality.

Make sure the printer is compatible
This cartridge works exclusively with specific Brother models: DCP-J125, DCP-J315W, DCP-J140W, DCP-J315W, DCP-J515W, and the MFC series J220, J265W, J410, and J415W. Always check your printer model before ordering, as the wrong cartridge won't fit your printer. You can usually find the model number on the front or bottom of your Brother printer.
