When do you choose this product?
What is poster paint and when do you use it?
Poster paint is a water-based paint that is perfectly suited to creative projects at school, at home or in art class. You use this paint when you want to paint on paper, cardboard or canvas and achieve an opaque, matt finish. Poster paint is ideal for beginners and children because it is easy to use and can be thinned with water.
Why choose black poster paint in tubes?
Black is an essential basic colour that you regularly need for creating contrasts, shadows or for mixing darker shades. The tube packaging ensures that you can use the paint in measured amounts without waste. This format is practical for smaller projects or when you only need a limited amount of black paint.
High-quality pigment for intense colours
This Kores poster paint contains high-quality pigments that give an intense, rich black colour. The advantage of highly pigmented paint is that you need less paint to achieve an opaque result. Moreover, the colour remains beautifully intense, even once the paint has dried on your artwork.
Practical mixing tips for the best results
This poster paint is mixable, so you can easily create new colours by combining black with other colours. For dark green shades, mix black with yellow or green; for grey tones, add white. The aluminium tube protects the paint from drying out, but always close the tube tightly after use to preserve its quality.

Dex knows - user tips
Shake the tube well before use and test the colour on a piece of paper first. Due to the high pigment concentration, the colour may be drier inside the tube — add a small drop of water if needed to achieve the desired consistency.
