When do you choose this product?
When do you need textile dye?
You use batik textile dye when you want to give fabric a new colour or create batik projects. This cherry-red colour powder is ideal for dyeing clothing, fabrics or other textile products that could use a fresh look.
Why choose this ready-to-use powder?
This KREUL textile dye comes as a ready-to-use colour powder, which means you can get started straight away without complicated preparation. The powder works from 50 to 95 degrees, so you have flexibility in your processing temperature and can also treat delicate fabrics.
What can you expect from the colour intensity?
The colour intensity depends on the amount of fabric you dye. With 200 grams of fabric you achieve an intense colouring, while with 400 grams of fabric you get a more moderate colour strength. This gives you control over the end result, depending on how much fabric you want to dye and how intense you want the colour to be.
Suitable for these materials
You can use this dye on silk, cotton, viscose, linen, half-linen, wool and polyamide. The included colour salt ensures that the colour bonds well to the fibres. Note that different materials may absorb the colour differently, so test on a small piece of fabric before tackling the full project.

Dex knows - user tips
Make sure you bring the water to the right temperature: this dye powder only works well from 50 degrees onwards and gives the most intense colour at around 95 degrees. The less fabric you dye with the same packet, the deeper the shade will be.
