With this silver marbling paint you can give all kinds of materials a beautiful marbled effect. It dries quickly and works on wood, glass, paper and many other surfaces.
When do you choose this product?
What is marbling paint and when do you use it?
KREUL Magic Marble marbling paint has been specially developed for tauchmarmorieren, a decorative technique in which you dip objects into water with floating paint. This creates unique marble patterns on your workpieces. You use this technique when you want to transform everyday objects into decorative works of art with an exclusive marble look.
Why choose the silver colour?
Silver gives your creations an elegant, metallic look that is both modern and timeless. This colour combines excellently with other shades and gives a luxurious finish. Silver marbling paint is particularly suitable for decorative projects where you want a stylish, glossy finish that stands out without being garish.
Versatility in materials
This marbling paint works on a wide range of materials: wood, glass, plastic, paper, metal, stoneware, terracotta and polystyrene. So you can work on almost any smooth surface, from wooden frames to glass vases, and from paper objects to terracotta pots. The paint adheres well to different surfaces, giving you creative freedom in your choice of project.
Practical benefits in use
The glass bottle is fitted with a drip insert, allowing you to dose the paint drop by drop onto the water surface. This gives you control over the marble pattern. The short drying time means you can quickly move on with your project. Furthermore, all Magic Marble colours can be mixed with one another, so you can create your own colour combinations for even more variety in your marble effects.

Instructions for marble paint "Magic Marble":
1. Dripping: Fill a container large enough to fully submerge the object with water. Note: the container can no longer be fully cleaned. Therefore, if necessary, protect the container with a plastic bag. Shake the paint briefly. Drip the marble paint close to the water surface.
2. Drawing the pattern: The more paint you drip, the more intense the marbling becomes. For polystyrene, use no more than 15 drops and a maximum of 4 colour shades. Immediately after dripping the paint, draw the marble pattern with a wooden stick. Ideally, use 2 to 3 colour shades for the marble result.
3. Dipping: Place the object, e.g. a polystyrene heart, on a wooden stick. Slowly dip the heart into the water, let it rest briefly and quickly pull it out again. To prevent a second layer of paint forming on the object, blow on the water surface before pulling it out so that the paint flows to the edge. Let it dry. Depending on the surface of the object being marbled, the paint is dust-dry after 15 to 30 minutes. Once fully dry, the objects are washable.
4. Done: Before the next marbling, carefully remove excess paint from the water surface with a sheet of paper (paper side). Remove paint residue to achieve an even distribution of the new paint. If the water is heavily contaminated, replace it.
Creative tips:
- the order in which the colour shades are dripped affects the marble pattern: the first colour shade is pushed aside by the second, so the second colour shade stands out more
- for single-colour marbling, use colourless paint and the desired colour shade
- always work quickly when marbling, otherwise a slightly dried paint film will form on the water surface
- close the paint immediately after use
- wearing gloves and an apron is recommended
- for textiles and fabrics, test samples are recommended
Application examples:
- for marbling wood, glass, plastic, paper, metal, earthenware, terracotta or polystyrene
- for colouring blown Easter eggs or Christmas baubles
Suitable for:
- hobby crafters
