When do you choose this product?
Which painting techniques do you use this product for?
This matt varnish has been specially developed for oil and acrylic paintings. You apply it as a protective finishing layer over your completed artwork to shield it from dust and dirt. The product dries quickly and gives an even matt finish without any gloss.
Why choose a matt varnish?
The matt variant ensures a uniform level of matting across your entire painting. This means you won't get any unwanted shiny spots that distract from your artwork. The varnish does not yellow over time, so the colours of your painting remain as you intended them.
Protection against everyday influences
This varnish forms a protective layer that shields your painting from dust and dirt from the surroundings. Especially with artworks that are displayed or hung for long periods, this prevents dirt from building up on the painted surface. The protective layer helps extend the lifespan of your artwork.
Which surfaces can you use it on?
The varnish is suitable for various painting surfaces such as canvas and cardboard. Thanks to its versatility, you can use it on most traditional painting materials. Make sure your painting is completely dry before applying the varnish for the best result.
