What does a waste toner container do?
A waste toner container collects excess toner released during the printing process of colour printers. Without this container, your printer would become clogged and print quality would deteriorate. The WT-860 ensures that your Kyocera TASKalfa printer keeps functioning without faults.

Why specifically the WT-860 container?
This container has been specially developed for the Kyocera TASKalfa 3050ci, 3550ci, 4550ci and 5550ci models, as well as the 3500i, 4500i and 5500i series. The exact fit and capacity prevent leaks and ensure optimal performance of your multifunctional printer.

Maintenance you can't afford to skip
The waste toner container is an essential component that must be replaced regularly. When it becomes full, your printer will display a message and stop printing until you replace the container. Ignoring this warning can lead to internal contamination of your printer.

Practical tip for replacement
Always check the OEM code WT-860 on your current container before ordering. Preferably replace the container when you also fit new toner cartridges, so you can carry out both maintenance tasks in one go. Keep some kitchen roll to hand during replacement, as some residual toner may always escape.
