What does a fountain pen do and when do you need one?
A fountain pen is the perfect writing instrument for anyone who values style and writing comfort. You use it for important documents, signatures, personal letters or everyday writing where you want a smooth writing experience. The LAMY 046 is specially designed for left-handed people and solves the typical writing problems that left-handed writers face.

Why this fountain pen is perfect for left-handers
This fountain pen has a special LH (left-handed) nib thickness that ensures optimal ink flow at the writing angle left-handers typically use. The rubberised grip section prevents slipping while writing, which is especially important for left-handers who often have a different hand position. The combination of these features makes this model uniquely suitable for left-handed use.

The cartridge system: easy and practical
This fountain pen works with LAMY's proven cartridge system, which allows you to easily replace ink cartridges without spilling. A blue T10 ink cartridge is included, so you can start writing straight away. This system is much more convenient than fountain pens that you have to fill by hand with ink from a bottle.

Durable materials and reliable quality
The combination of an aluminium barrel and a polished stainless steel nib ensures a long service life. The aluminium stays looking good thanks to its matte finish, while the stainless steel nib retains its writing qualities for years. The plastic cap with clip is practical for attaching to your breast pocket or notebook.
