What are rubber bands and when do you use them?
Rubber bands are versatile office aids used for binding documents, bundling pens or holding objects together. These red rubber bands from Laufer are made of natural rubber, making them flexible and durable. You need them when you regularly want to bundle items together temporarily without permanent fixing such as staples or glue.

Why choose size number 4?
These rubber bands have a diameter of 25 mm, which corresponds to size number 4. This medium size is ideal for bundling average quantities of paper, such as stacks of documents of 10-20 sheets, or for holding pen sets together. The size is large enough for a firm grip, but not so large that small objects slip through.

Stretchability and strength of natural rubber
The natural rubber material provides excellent stretch and wear resistance. When you stretch a rubber band, it becomes 84 mm long, whereas in its flat state it measures 40 mm. This stretchability means you can use the rubber bands for different thicknesses without them breaking. Natural rubber retains its elasticity for a long time, even with frequent use.

Practical storage tip for 1,000 grams
With 1,000 grams of rubber bands, you have a generous supply suitable for offices or home workspaces where bundling is done regularly. Store the rubber bands in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent them from drying out. This way they retain their elasticity for longer and remain reliable for all your bundling and fastening tasks.
