What are horsehair brushes and when do you need them?
Horsehair brushes are versatile paintbrushes suitable for a variety of painting techniques and creative projects. You need these brushes when you want to paint with opaque paint, textile paint, acrylic or oil paint. They are ideal for art lessons, creative workshops or simply crafting at home.

Why choose size 18?
Size 18 is a medium-sized brush that is perfectly balanced between detail and coverage. With this size you can fill larger areas while still doing reasonably detailed work. This makes the brush very suitable for beginning artists and children who want to try out different techniques without constantly having to switch brushes.

Horsehair quality for optimal painting results
The horsehair (pony hair) in these brushes holds paint well and delivers an even flow of paint. The aluminium ferrule ensures the bristles stay firmly in place, even after intensive use. The blue wooden handle sits comfortably in the hand and is specially designed for use by children aged 3 and up.

Practical benefits of a set of 12 pieces
With 12 identical brushes in one pack, you have enough stock for an entire class or group of children. You can use different colours at the same time without having to clean the brush each time, which makes the creative process much smoother. It is also ideal to keep a few brushes aside as spares while other brushes are being cleaned.
