When do you need horsehair brushes?
Horsehair brushes are ideal for watercolour, acrylic paint and other liquid paints. They take up paint well and apply it beautifully and evenly onto paper or canvas. These brushes are perfect for children from the age of 3 who are just starting to paint, or for schools that need brushes for their art lessons.

Why choose size 2?
Size 2 is a versatile size that is suitable for both details and filling in medium-sized areas. For young children, this size is neither too large nor too small, so they can work with it comfortably without overstraining their fine motor skills. The brush offers enough control for beginner painters.

Advantages of pony horsehair
The pony hair in these brushes strikes a good balance between firmness and softness. The hair holds its shape well while painting and lasts a long time with normal use. The aluminium ferrule (the metal band) holds the bristles firmly in place, even after repeated washing.

Practical benefits of the packaging
With 12 pieces in one pack, you have plenty of brushes straight away for a classroom or creative workspace. The blue wooden handle sits comfortably in the hand and is easy for children to recognise. Thanks to the aluminium ferrule, you can clean the brushes thoroughly with water and soap after use without damaging them.
