What are alcohol markers and when do you use them?
Alcohol markers such as these Promarkers are professional drawing tools mainly used for illustrations, sketches and colouring. The alcohol base ensures the ink dries quickly and does not soak through the paper, so you can work precisely without smudges.

Why choose warm grey 00?
Warm grey 00 is a very light, warm grey shade that works perfectly as a base for shadows and for creating subtle transitions. This particular shade allows you to gradually build up to darker tones without becoming too dark straight away. It is an essential colour for realistic drawings and portraits.

The advantage of two different tips
These markers have both a chisel tip and a round tip, which means you can colour broad areas and draw fine details with a single marker. The chisel tip is used for large surfaces and broad lines, while the round tip is ideal for precision work and thin lines.

Practical tip for use
You receive three identical markers in this colour, which is handy because grey shades are often used a lot as a base colour. Please note that alcohol markers work best on smooth paper designed specifically for markers – ordinary copier paper may let the ink bleed through. Store the markers horizontally with the caps firmly in place to prevent them from drying out.
