What are A6 laminating pouches and when do you use them?

A6 laminating pouches are clear protective sleeves that permanently protect your documents against dirt, moisture and wear. You need them when you want to keep important papers such as badges, instruction cards, reference material or small documents safe for the long term. The laminating process completely encases your documents in a sturdy, waterproof layer.

Why choose the A6 format?

The A6 format, measuring 111 x 154 mm, is ideal for smaller documents such as business cards, photos, short instructions or badges. This compact size is perfect for documents you handle often or that take up limited space. It is practical for workplaces where you regularly consult small reference material.

What does 250 micron thickness mean for your documents?

This laminating pouch has a total thickness of 250 micron (2 x 125 micron), which offers medium-weight protection. The pouch is made of high-quality polyester (PET) with an adhesive layer of Ethyl-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA). This composition ensures clear results without air bubbles and provides enough sturdiness for regular use without making the document too stiff.

Practical tip for laminating

These pouches are suitable for hot laminating and work with standard A6 laminating machines. Make sure your laminator is warmed up before you start, and feed the pouch through the machine slowly. With 100 pieces in the pack, you have enough stock for larger laminating jobs or long-term use in the office.
