When do you need an active DisplayPort cable?
This 15-metre DisplayPort cable lets you connect displays over a long distance to your computer or laptop. Thanks to the built-in chipset, the signal stays strong enough for this length, which standard cables cannot manage. You need this type of cable when your setup requires more reach than standard cables can handle.

Why choose this 15-metre length?
At 15 metres, this cable bridges long distances without signal loss, which is ideal for presentation rooms, home offices with separate server cabinets, or when your display is far from your computer. The active technology keeps the image sharp, even at this distance where passive cables fail.

Ultra HD quality up to 4096 x 2160 pixels
This cable supports the DisplayPort 1.2 standard and delivers images up to 4096 x 2160 pixels at a 60 Hz refresh rate. You get razor-sharp Ultra HD quality, also suitable for 3D content. The gold-plated connectors ensure a stable connection and prevent corrosion over time.

Practical details for a reliable connection
The connectors have a locking mechanism that prevents the cable from accidentally coming loose during use. Check whether your devices have DisplayPort connections - you can recognise these by their rectangular shape with one angled corner. Because of the active chipset, the cable works in one direction only, so pay attention to which end you connect to which device.
