When do you use a short network cable?
A 0.50 metre network cable is ideal for direct connections between devices that are close together. You need this short cable when you want to connect a laptop, desktop or gaming console to a router, switch or modem that is located in the same cabinet or on the same desk. Thanks to its short length, you avoid excess cable that looks messy.

Why choose the Cat. 6A specification?
This Cat. 6A cable supports higher data speeds and frequencies than standard Cat. 5e cables. You choose Cat. 6A when you want future-proof network connections that are suitable for fast internet connections and data transfer within your network. The cable is suitable for professional applications where reliable connections are crucial.

Flexibility as the key feature
The slim design with a diameter of 2.8 mm and the flexible cable sheath make this cable particularly bendable. The small bend radius means you can easily route the cable through tight spaces without it being damaged. This flexibility is especially useful for installations behind desks or in small cabinets where space is limited.

Practical installation tip
The extra short RJ45 connectors provide a compact connection that takes up less space in busy patch cabinets. The knickschutz (strain relief boot) at both ends prevents the cable from breaking at the sensitive transition points. Make sure that both devices you are connecting are fitted with RJ45 Ethernet ports for good compatibility.
