What does a fibre optic patch cable do?
A fibre optic patch cable connects network equipment such as switches, routers and servers in professional network environments. You need this cable when you want to achieve high data speeds over longer distances without signal loss. Fibre optic is essential in data centres and business networks where reliable, fast connections are crucial.

Why choose LC duplex connectors?
LC duplex connectors are the standard in modern network infrastructure because of their compact size and reliable connection. This connector fits most professional switches and network equipment. With a length of 15 metres, you can easily bridge the distance between different network cabinets or from a server room to a workstation without any intermediate equipment.

OM3 multimode for 10 Gigabit Ethernet
This OM3 fibre optic supports Ethernet data transmission up to 10 Gigabit per second over the 15-metre distance. The 50/125 micrometre core ensures optimal signal transmission in multimode applications. This makes the cable suitable for today's high-speed networks where large volumes of data are transferred.

LSZH sheath for safe installation
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath, with a diameter of 3.0 mm, produces minimal smoke and no toxic gases when heated. This is important in office environments and data centres where fire safety is a priority. The turquoise colour helps identify OM3 connections in accordance with the international standards DIN EN 50173-1 and ISO/IEC 11801, which prevents incorrect connections during installation and maintenance.
