This is why Dex likes this article
This armoured fibre optic cable is built for industrial environments and protects your connection thanks to its stainless steel spiral sheath, which guards against damage. The low-smoke, halogen-free material makes it suitable for applications where safety comes first.
When do you choose this product?
What does this armoured fibre optic cable do?
This professional fibre optic cable connects network equipment over longer distances using light signals. You need this type of cable when you want to create reliable data connections in industrial environments or in situations where ordinary cables are vulnerable to mechanical damage.
Why choose the armoured 20 metre variant?
The 20 metre length gives you sufficient reach for connections between different rooms or floors. The spiral stainless steel armour protects the delicate optical fibres against mechanical impact, making this cable suitable for industrial applications where standard patch cables would be too fragile.
Professional specifications
The cable is fitted with LC-Duplex connectors with ceramic ferrules for stable connections. The low-smoke, halogen-free material makes the cable suitable for indoor installations where fire safety is important.
Practical installation tip
Note that this cable has LC-Duplex connectors on both ends - check that your network equipment has compatible LC ports. The white sheath with green plugs makes identification easy in a structured cabling system.
