This robust fibre optic coupler ensures stable data connections in your network. The ceramic ferrule guarantees precise alignment of the fibres, and the beige colour matches standard network equipment nicely.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a fibre optic coupler?
A fibre optic coupler is used to connect two fibre optic cables to each other or to extend a fibre optic connection. This is essential in network installations where you need to join fibre optic cables via a patch panel or wall outlet, or when you need to extend existing connections.
Why choose SC duplex connectors?
This coupler is equipped with 2x SC duplex connections, which means you can connect both the transmit and receive fibres of a full-duplex connection. SC connectors are square push-pull connectors that are widely used in professional network installations because of their reliable locking mechanism.
Ceramic sleeve for precise alignment
The ceramic sleeve ensures precise alignment of the optical fibres, which is important for reliable signal transmission.
Professional mounting with flange
The plastic housing features a flange, allowing you to mount the coupler securely in a patch panel, network rack or wall outlet. This ensures a neat and stable installation. When installing, always check that both sides of your fibre optic cable have the same connector type (SC) before connecting them.
