What does this fibre optic patch cable do?
This LC-Duplex fibre optic patch cable connects network components such as switches, routers and servers in professional network environments. You need this cable when you want to create reliable, fast data connections over longer distances without signal loss. Fibre optic is the standard for business networks where stability and speed are crucial.

Why choose a 15 metre length?
With a length of 15 metres, this cable provides enough room to connect equipment in different server cabinets or across multiple floors. This length is ideal when you cannot place network components directly next to each other, but still need a direct fibre optic connection without intermediate components.

OM4 multimode for fast data transfer
The OM4 specification with a 50/125 micrometre core supports Ethernet data transfers up to 40 Gbit per second. This makes the cable suitable for modern high-speed applications such as 10 Gigabit and 40 Gigabit Ethernet. The violet colour follows the industry standard for OM4 cabling, so you can recognise the cable type at a glance in your network infrastructure.

Professional specifications and compatibility
The cable complies with DIN EN 50173-1 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, ensuring compatibility with professional network standards. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath ensures safety in buildings by producing minimal smoke in the event of fire. Please note that both ends have LC-Duplex connectors - check whether your equipment has LC-Duplex ports before ordering this cable.
