This Cat.6 cable lays a stable network throughout your entire office. Thanks to the double shielding the connection remains interference-free, and with 50 metres on the reel you can get started straight away without additional purchases.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a Cat6 installation cable?
You use a category 6 installation cable to build a reliable network infrastructure in offices, business premises or larger homes. This cable ensures stable internet connections between your router, switches and network points. At 50 metres in length, this cable is suitable for larger installations where you need to connect multiple rooms or floors.
Why choose the shielded version?
This LogiLink cable has both foil and braided shielding, which offers double protection against electromagnetic interference. In environments with a lot of electrical equipment, fluorescent lighting or other cables, this helps you prevent signal loss and network problems. The shielding is especially important for longer cable runs and professional network applications.
What does the AWG 23/1 CCA specification mean?
The cable has AWG 23/1 conductors of CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium), where an aluminium core is coated with copper. This keeps costs manageable while still giving you good conducting properties. The single-wire core (solid core) makes this cable suitable for fixed installations, but it is less flexible than stranded cables.
Practical installation tip for this cable
Please note that this installation cable has the Euroclass E fire rating, which means it is suitable for use in normal office environments. The cable comes ring-packed in foil, which makes it easier to pull out during installation. When pulling it through cable trays, make sure you do not exceed the maximum pulling tension, and keep a sufficient distance from power cables to prevent interference.
