Ideal for your network installation: this 100-metre Cat6 cable offers plenty of length for larger projects. Conveniently supplied in a handy cardboard box, so you can effortlessly unroll exactly what you need.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a professional installation cable?
This category 6 U/UTP cable is intended for permanent network installations in offices, businesses or home offices. You need this type of cable when you want to set up a reliable wired network for internet connections, data transfer between computers or connecting network equipment such as switches and routers.
Why choose 100 metres and category 6?
With 100 metres of cable, you can create multiple connection points or bridge longer distances without intermediate connections. Category 6 offers sufficient bandwidth for modern network applications and is future-proof for higher speeds than older standards.
CCA cable: what does that mean for your installation?
This cable uses CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium), a copper-aluminium blend rather than pure copper. This makes the cable lighter and cheaper to purchase, but do take into account the specifications of your network equipment. The unshielded U/UTP design is suitable for standard office environments without strong electromagnetic interference.
Practical installation tip
The cable is supplied in a cardboard box, which makes it easier to unroll and handle. During installation, keep in mind that CCA cables have different properties from pure copper cables, especially over longer distances. Check in advance whether your network equipment is compatible with this cable type for optimal performance.
