Fast and stable connection for your data centre with this MPO trunk cable. The LSZH jacket is fire-safe, and the 12 fibres offer ample capacity for your network expansion.
When do you choose this product?
What does an MPO patch cable do?
An MPO patch cable is a professional fibre optic cable that bundles multiple fibres into a single connector. You need this cable for high-density data centre connections, where you want to achieve many fibre optic links in a compact way. With 12 fibres in one connector, you save considerably on space in patch panels and switches.
Why choose singlemode OS2?
This cable uses singlemode OS2 fibre of the G657.A2 type, which is suitable for long distances and high data speeds. Singlemode fibres have a smaller core than multimode fibres, so they show less signal degradation over greater distances. The 5.0 metre length is ideal for connections within the same rack or between nearby racks.
MPO/APC connectors with polarity B
The green MPO/APC connectors ensure precise alignment and minimal reflection thanks to their angled polish. Polarity B means that the fibre positions are mirrored at both ends, which is important for correct signal transmission in your network. The connectors comply with the IEC 61754-7 standard for reliable performance.
Practical installation tip
When connecting, make sure you use polarity B, which must be compatible with your active equipment. The yellow LSZH sheath of 3 mm is flame-retardant and produces less smoke and toxic gases when heated, which is essential in indoor installations. Store the cable with protective caps on the connectors to prevent dust and damage.
