This 5-metre Cat.6A extension cable ensures stable network connections without signal loss. The shielding prevents interference, and the gold-plated contacts guarantee lasting performance.
When do you choose this product?
What does a Cat.6A extension cable do?
Use this network extension cable when your existing internet cables are too short for your network setup. With Cat.6A technology, the cable supports high data speeds and is suitable for professional network environments where reliable internet connections are essential.
Why choose a 5 metre length?
The 5 metre length offers enough room to position equipment flexibly without unnecessary cable slack. This size is ideal for office environments where you want to connect network components within a workspace or between adjacent rooms without cables getting in the way.
Shielded construction for stable connections
This cable features S/FTP shielding, with both an overall braided shield and individual foil shielding around the wire pairs. The fully copper conductors (4x2xAWG26/7) ensure optimal signal transmission, while the gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance for long-term reliability.
Practical considerations during installation
Please note that the two ends of this extension cable are different: one end has an RJ45 plug, the other an RJ45 coupling. The LSZH sheath is halogen-free and flame-retardant, which is important for installations in office buildings subject to fire safety regulations. The black colour gives a discreet appearance in professional environments.
