When do you need a professional network cable?
A Cat. 5e network cable is used to connect devices to each other via a wired network. This is essential when you need stable internet connections for computers, printers, switches or other network equipment. At 20 metres in length, this cable easily spans greater distances in offices or between different rooms.

Why choose the Cat. 5e specification?
Cat. 5e is the standard for most office environments and supports reliable data transfer for regular internet connections and network traffic. This cable has a 1:1 pinout, which means both ends are wired identically. This makes the cable universally usable between different devices.

Benefit of the double shielding
This cable has both foil and braided shielding (SF/UTP), which offers extra protection against electromagnetic interference. The shielded RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure optimal signal transmission. The moulded housing prevents breakage during frequent use, while the grey strain relief boots protect the cable from damage at sharp bends.

Practical installation tip
When laying the cable, make sure you do not bend the PVC sheath too tightly around corners, to prevent signal loss. The cable print states the category and cable type, which is useful for identification in complex network installations. Always check that both devices you wish to connect are suitable for wired network connections.
