When do you need a Cat 6A network cable?
A Cat 6A network cable is used to connect devices on your network when you need high speeds. This cable is suitable for 10 Gigabit networks, both at home and in the office. You need this cable when wireless internet is not sufficient or when you want a stable, fast connection between, for example, your router, switch, computer or NAS system.

Why choose a 10 metre length?
The 10 metre length gives you enough reach to connect devices in different rooms or on different floors. This length is ideal when you need to run from your router in the meter cupboard to your workspace, or when your equipment is positioned in different corners of a room. For shorter distances, you avoid unnecessary cable length, while for most office and home situations you have sufficient reach.

Suitable for 10 Gigabit networks
This Cat 6A cable supports 10 Gigabit network speeds, which means you get the most out of modern internet connections and internal network traffic. The U/UTP construction without shielding is sufficient for normal office and home environments where no extreme electromagnetic interference occurs. The cable complies with the TIA/EIA 568B standard with a 1:1 pin layout.

Practical details for installation
The cable has blue RJ45 connectors with boot protection, which prevents breakage when bending. With a cable diameter of 5 mm, it fits easily through standard cable trays and wall openings. The white PVC sheath is neutral and does not stand out in most interiors. Check that your network equipment also supports 10 Gigabit to get the best out of this cable.
