What does this product do?
A Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable connects network components such as computers, switches and routers for fast internet connections. You need this cable when you want to connect devices to a network that supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet speeds. The cable also supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ for powering devices via the network connection.

Why this short 0.5 metre variant?
The 0.5 metre length is ideal for short-distance connections, such as between a switch and a patch panel in a server rack. By choosing the right cable length, you avoid unnecessary cable clutter that can obstruct airflow. This short length keeps your workspace neat without any excess cable.

Extra flexible thanks to Cat.7 wire
This patch cable uses Cat.7 wire inside, making it extra flexible and soft to the touch. The small bend radius means you can easily bend the cable without it breaking or disrupting the connection. The bare copper wire of 4x2xAWG26/7 ensures reliable signal transmission with this flexibility.

Safe and certified use
The cable complies with the Cat.6A ISO11801 Channel Class EA standard and has been tested by 3P & GHMT. The halogen-free material and low smoke emission make the cable suitable for professional environments where fire safety is important. The shielded connectors protect against electromagnetic interference that can affect network performance.
