What does a UTP patch cable do?
A UTP patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches, routers or printers to the wired network. This Cat. 6 cable supports fast data connections and ensures a stable internet connection in office environments. You need such a cable when WiFi is not available or when you want a reliable wired connection for critical equipment.

Why choose this flat variant?
The flat design of this 2 metre cable offers a practical advantage: you can easily run it under carpets, along skirting boards or through tight spaces without it being noticeable. This makes it more ideal than round cables for situations where aesthetics are important or where little space is available for cable management.

Reliable Cat. 6 UTP specification
This cable complies with the Cat. 6 UTP standard, with unshielded 4x2 AWG 32 copper conductors and 1:1 pin assignment. The gold-plated contacts in the RJ45 connectors ensure good signal transmission and prevent corrosion. The PVC jacket material provides sufficient protection for indoor use, while the white colour is neutral for most office environments.

Practical compatibility
This UTP cable works with all standard network equipment that has RJ45 ports. When laying the cable, keep in mind that UTP cables are more susceptible to electromagnetic interference than shielded variants, so avoid placing them near strong electrical appliances. The 2 metre length is suitable for short to medium-length connections within the same room.
