What does a Cat. 6A network cable do and when do you need one?

A Cat. 6A network cable provides a stable internet connection between your devices and router, switch or modem. You need this cable when you want to connect devices that require a reliable network connection, such as computers, printers or NAS systems. Cat. 6A supports higher speeds than standard Cat. 5e cables.

Why choose this extra short 0.15 metre variant?

This 0.15 metre cable is specially designed for situations where you want to bridge a minimal distance. Perfect for connections between devices that are close together, such as from a switch to a patch panel, or between network components in a server rack. The short length prevents unnecessary cable clutter and keeps your workspace tidy.

Flexible design for tight spaces

With a diameter of just 2.8 mm and a soft, flexible cable jacket, you can easily route this cable through tight spaces. The small bend radius means you can bend the cable sharply without damage, which is handy for installations behind equipment or in crowded cabinets. The strain relief boots on the connectors prevent breakage during frequent use.

Practical features for professional use

The cable has gold-plated contacts for optimal signal transmission and is made of pure copper. The U/UTP (unshielded) design makes it suitable for most office environments where there is no extreme electromagnetic interference. The cable is also flame-retardant, low-smoke and halogen-free, which is important for safety in professional environments.
