When do you need a flat UTP patch cable?
You use a UTP patch cable Cat. 5e to connect devices to your network, such as computers, printers or switches. This flat variant is particularly useful when you need to route cables through narrow spaces, under rugs or along skirting boards. The flat design makes the cable less noticeable and easier to tidy away than round cables.

Why choose a 3 metre length?
With 3 metres you have sufficient cable length for most office and home situations. This length gives you the flexibility to connect devices at different distances without excess cable getting in the way. Whether you are connecting your computer to the router or a printer at a distance, 3 metres offers practical freedom in your setup.

Cat. 5e performance for standard network applications
This Cat. 5e cable supports internet speeds up to 1 Gigabit, which is more than sufficient for regular office activities such as email, browsing, video conferencing and file sharing. The gold-plated contacts in the RJ45 connectors ensure stable connections and protect against corrosion. The 1:1 wiring means both ends are connected identically, which is standard for direct device connections.

Practical installation and use
Pay attention to the blue bend relief boots, which indicate where you can bend the cable without causing damage. Connect the cable to standard RJ45 network ports on computers, switches, routers or other network equipment. The PVC sheath offers protection against normal wear, but avoid sharp bends that could damage the internal wires.
