What does a UTP Cat 6 network cable do?
A UTP network cable connects devices such as computers, printers, switches and routers to the network. You need this cable when you want a reliable internet connection between different devices in the office or at home. Cat 6 cables are suitable for modern network applications and provide stable data transmission.

Why choose a 10 metre length?
With 10 metres you have enough reach to connect devices that are further apart, for example between different rooms or from a router to a workstation on the other side of the office. This length gives you flexibility when setting up your workspace without having to join several short cables together.

Unshielded design for standard use
This UTP cable is unshielded (ungeschirmt) and is therefore mainly suitable for normal office and home environments where there is no extreme electromagnetic interference. The 4 x 2 AWG 32 copper conductors and 1:1 pin assignment ensure a direct, reliable connection between both ends without signal loss.

Practical details for everyday use
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and ensure a stable connection. The black strain relief prevents damage to the cable when it is bent. Be sure to insert the connectors straight into the network ports to avoid damage. The cable is supplied in a plastic bag for neat storage.
