What does this product do and when do you need it?

The Magnetoplan Wandplatten-Set 'magnetowand' turns an ordinary wall into a magnetic surface. This is handy if you want to hang notes, photos or documents with magnets without placing a separate whiteboard or pinboard. You fit the panels directly under the wallpaper, so the magnetic function stays fully hidden within the wall.

Why is this size the right choice?

The set contains 4 metal panels measuring 500 x 500 mm each, which together give exactly 1 square metre of surface. That is sufficient for a compact working zone, for example above a desk or in a hallway cupboard. Because the panels are separate, you can also arrange them differently if the space calls for it.

An honest explanation of the material properties

The panels are made of rust-protected, stress-free metal with a thickness of 0.5 mm. The white surface finish means the panels won't stand out in colour if you want to leave them visible. The rust protection is relevant in rooms with fluctuating humidity, such as a kitchen or cellar being set up as a workroom.

Practical tip for installation

These panels are specifically intended for installation under wallpaper: you first glue them to the wall and then paper over them. Check beforehand that your wallpaper paste and wallpaper are suitable for use on a smooth metal surface, so that the wallpaper adheres properly. Combine the wall panel set with matching Magnetoplan magnets or magnetic accessories for a complete system.
