This aluminium ruler from Maped measures up to 50 cm effortlessly and stays in place thanks to the Protectsystem end caps, without damaging your desk. The clear markings every 5 cm make accurate reading a doddle.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use an aluminium ruler?
An aluminium ruler is ideal for precise measuring and drawing straight lines in technical drawing, architecture or precision work. Aluminium is sturdier than plastic and wears down more slowly, so you'll enjoy your measuring tool for longer. This 500 mm ruler is ideal for A3 formats and larger workpieces where a standard 30 cm ruler falls short.
Why choose the Protectsystem end caps?
Maped's special Protectsystem end caps offer two important benefits. They dampen the noise when you put down or drop the ruler, which is handy in quiet work environments such as offices or classrooms. At the same time, these end caps protect the corners from damage caused by falls or knocks, so your ruler lasts longer.
Practical scale markings for faster work
The scale has a clearly visible marking every 5 cm, so you can quickly estimate large distances without having to count every millimetre. This saves time when making sketches, dividing up spaces on paper or checking dimensions. The clear markings remain easy to read, even with intensive use.
Reliable storage and transport
The blister packaging included lets you store the ruler safely in a drawer or bag without it getting damaged. The packaging also prevents the ruler from sliding around between other office supplies. Preferably store the ruler lying flat to prevent warping, and regularly check that the end caps are still firmly attached.
