This is why Dex likes this article
With this set of 72 coloured pencils, you have enough colours within reach for every project or drawing. The triangular shape sits comfortably in your hand, and the 2.9 mm break-resistant lead ensures firm, clear lines. Handy in the cardboard case, so everything stays neatly together.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need professional colouring pencils?
Colouring pencils are essential for artists, designers, students and anyone who works with colour professionally or intensively. This Maped COLOR-PEPS Star set is ideal when you need an extensive colour palette for detailed work, where you regularly blend different shades together.
Why choose this triangular shape?
The triangular shape of these pencils provides a natural, comfortable grip while drawing. This prevents the pencils from slipping out of your fingers and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use. For children learning to draw or adults doing a lot of detailed work, this shape offers significantly more control than round pencils.
What does the 2.9 mm lead strength mean in practice?
With a lead diameter of 2.9 mm, you get the ideal balance between fine lines and even colouring. This thickness is thick enough to colour larger areas quickly, yet sharp enough for detailed work. The soft, break-resistant leads mean you need to sharpen less often and the tip doesn't wear down quickly during intensive use.
Practical benefits of the cardboard case
The sturdy cardboard case keeps all 72 pencils organised and protects them from damage. The barrels are coloured in the same shade as the stripe colour, so you can quickly find the right colour without having to test first. This saves time during creative projects where you often switch between colours.
