When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This Marabu acrylic paint set is a versatile choice for artists, hobbyists and creative projects. Water-based acrylic paint gives you the benefits of quick drying and easy handling, while still achieving professional results. The 18 different colours in 36 ml tubes give you an extensive basis for virtually any painting project.
Why this selection?
With 18 carefully selected colours, you get a complete palette that includes all primary and secondary colours, plus important earth tones and neutral shades. From titanium white to deep black, and from vibrant colours such as cinnabar red and emerald green to subtle natural tones such as sienna and burnt umber. This selection means you can get started straight away without buying any additional colours.
Covering power and durability
The paint has a covering effect, which means you achieve a good colour result with a single coat. Once dry, you get a matt-gloss finish that gives a professional look. Importantly, the colours are waterproof and lightfast, so your artworks retain their colour intensity, even when exposed to light.
Practical handling tip
The paints are mixable with one another, allowing you to create endless colour variations by combining different shades. You can dilute the paint with water for transparent effects or washes. Make sure to rinse your brushes thoroughly straight after use, as acrylic paint dries quickly and is then difficult to remove.

Dex knows - user tips
Let the paint dry thoroughly before applying a next coat — acrylic paint dries quickly but must be genuinely dry to cover well. Rinse brushes and your hands with water straight after use, as once the paint has hardened it can no longer be removed with water.
